Located at 370 Zoo Parkway, the site contains everything from kookaburras to Komodo dragons, while the themed gardens are a beautiful place to relax. The zoo is open every day from 9am to 5pm, and tickets are prebooked online.

Kids will love the Splash Ground and Goat Yard play park, and there are also chances to ride the train, visit theater, and watch the animals at feeding time. And with a range of restaurants and gift shops, you’ll have plenty to keep you busy on a day out to remember.

2. Autobahn Indoor Speedway

If you enjoy thrills and spills to get your adrenaline pumping, the Autobahn Indoor Speedway is the perfect location for a fun-filled trip. Race around the track in electric go karts at speeds of up to 50mph, or take the opportunity to practice your axe-throwing. There’s also a video arcade and eaterie to keep everyone entertained for hours on end.

It won’t quite compare to the experience of driving your Mazda MX-5 Miata on the highway, but a visit to Autobahn is guaranteed to give you a great day out. Located at 6601 Executive Park Court North and open from 11am on weekdays and 10am on the weekend, this is an exciting location that’ll be popular with the whole family.

3. Prototype Escape Games

With multiple rooms and technological innovations in each game, you’ll be constantly tested to solve the mysteries and beat the clock. Located at 3546 St Johns Bluff Road South Unit 113, the games include Cannibals in the Catacombs and Blackout.

Games must be booked online in advance, and can accommodate two to twelve people, depending on your choice of gameplay.
